LIVESTOCK AGREEMENT

(I understand that, due to the needs of our Association, these Rules may be amended, and I will comply with those amendments.)

Review "Livestock Rules" for complete information about BRVRLA regulations.

This form must be completed and Board must approve request, before arrival of animals.

I agree I will keep only the animals approved by the Board.

Animals are for Personal Use of Animal Only.

Owners cannot Board animals for others. This is forbidden by the County Use Permit.

Animals are not allowed on dams or in wetlands as per County regulations.

Manure removal will be the responsibility of the animal owner. A minimum requirement is weekly removal of manure from any walking trails and around the barn to reduce flies, odor, etc.

I certify that the animal(s) are for my PERSONAL USE. I will be the caretaker of and be fully responsible for the animal(s) and that I will personally pay for any harm or damages caused by said animal(s). I further agree to defend and hold harmless BRVRLA and any and all of its members from any action taken as a result of harm or damage which may have been caused by said animal(s).

***Liability insurance is required: $300,000 per incident with $600,00 total aggregate per animal per injury or property damage. The policy is to be carried at the Homeowner’s expense and needs to name the Association as party to be notified of change, lapse, or cancellation.

_____ Attach a copy of the Certified Veterinarian verification of vaccinations.

***Vaccination Requirements: Horse(s) must be vaccinated annually for Eastern/Western sleeping sickness, influenza, encephalomyelitis, and tetanus. Horse(s) must also be either tube wormed annually or paste wormed every 3-4 months. All horses coming from out of state must provide proof of a negative Cogins test as complies with inter-state horse transportation laws. Other livestock should have current vaccinations.

****Owner must indemnify the Association from any damage/injury that may be inflicted by the owner's animal(s).

I hereby agree if I violate any of these requirements, I will be subject to a $500 fine per animal, or immediate removal of the animal(s) from BRVRLA property.
